JEE Main 2026 Registration
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the JEE Main 2026 application form soon.
The registration process is likely to begin in the fourth week of October 2025.

Students who meet the JEE Main 2026 eligibility criteria can submit their online application.
Candidates who passed Class 12 in 2024 or 2025 or are appearing in 2026 will be eligible to apply.
The JEE Main 2026 will be conducted in two sessions β January and April β
in computer-based (online) mode for a duration of three hours.

How to Register for JEE Mains 2026
Candidates who wish to appear for JEE Main 2026 can register online through the official NTA website.
The process involves creating a new account, filling in details, uploading documents, and paying the exam fee.
Follow the steps below to complete the registration successfully.
- Visit the official NTA JEE Main website β jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the registration link for JEE Main 2026.
- Create a new registration and choose your preferred mode of login and identification.
- Complete registration by entering name, mobile number, and email ID.
- Log in using the generated application number and password.
- Fill in personal, academic, and communication details in the registration form.
- Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature as per the guidelines.
- Pay the application fee online through the available payment modes.
- Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.
JEE Main Correction Window 2026
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the correction window for JEE Main 2026 after the registration process.
Candidates can edit incorrect details or fix image discrepancies through their login portal.
Some fields can be updated without any extra fee, while others may require additional payment.
Details that can be modified include:
- Personal information such as name or parentsβ name (spelling corrections).
- Academic details like school name, year of passing, or qualifying exam details.
- Switching between Paper 1 and Paper 2 (additional fee may apply).
- Language preference β can be changed between English, Hindi, or Gujarati.
- Category details β candidates can change categories but fee refunds will not be issued.
- Date of birth and state of eligibility, if required.
- Exam centre preferences cannot be changed once submitted.
How to Retrieve JEE Main 2026 Password
- Visit the official website β jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the candidate login link.
- Select the βForgot Passwordβ option.
- Enter your application number and date of birth.
- Your password will be sent to your registered email or mobile number.
If candidates forget their application number, they can check their registered email or SMS,
where NTA shares all registration details. Alternatively, applicants can refer to their downloaded JEE Main form copy.
